Who is John Mediana

John Mediana is a Husband, Father of two boys, a Friend and a creative powerhouse. His creative entrepreneurial journey started at a young age being born and raised in Los Angeles California.

 

John's dad owned a small business where John learned the value of hard work and earning every penny by great customer service and having a valuable product.

Myspace Changed His Life

John grew up in the church and found his way into writing music in his early teens. He was in many bands and needed to promote his music. Myspace gave him a place to create without boundaries and challenged him to take his imagination to new heights. He had to learn photography, graphic design, audio recording and videography to really make his myspace pages stand out. Little did John know Myspace would take him places he never could imagined.

6 Years of Film & Photography School

John knew exactly what he wanted to do right after high school. He wanted to help people tell their story with video and design. He attended The Art Institute of California and Las Vegas from 2005 - 2012 learning everything he can with the ever changing digital boom while at the same time working in the industry and gaining first hand experience on set.

Youtube Changed Everything

The social media rise began around 2008 for John. His skills and talent were exploding and getting noticed by influential names and brands. From Revlon to Capitol Records, John was making a name for himself. John opened his first brick & mortar business at the age of 20 years old.

He then joined forced with the World's Finest Custom Drum Company Battlefield Drums as the multimedia director. John exploded Battlefield by using his knowledge on youtube and social media taking the small company to Top 4 in the nation.

John started working with talented singer songwriters and directing music videos for prominent record labels during his time at Battlefield.

​

John then joined forces with Sean Cannell and Benji Travis building Video Influencers and Think Media on youtube. John also had his hand in entrepreneurship during this time as he co-owned a fitness gym in Irvine California and a merchandise warehouse in Pomona.

The Power of Personal Branding

After building over 100 youtube channels, launching over 200 podcast shows, helping over 500 entrepreneurs, generating over 5 Billion views, making over $500 Million for clients worldwide, John understood the power of humanizing brands. By telling stories through video and bringing brands to the forefront of their audiences, John had discovered the formula of building brands people could not ignore. This led to his involvement with the rebrand of Las Vegas.

John's network had begun to widen by all the people and companies he has helped that he got answered the call in 2018 to join Las Vegas' Award Winning Advertising Agency that created the campaign "What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas."

John quickly become an essential and significant missing piece to humanizing the most famous travel destination in the world. John became a vital part of the 20 years anniversary and rebrand of the city in 2020, then when the pandemic hit, it was time to close a chapter for a new one to open.

The Birth of Executive Brand Growth

After exiting his multiple companies in his twenties and wrestling through his 30's trying to truly invest into his purpose years, John new it was time to get back into launching his own business again, but this time he wanted to encapsulate everything he has learned over the many years and package it up to create as much impact as possible. John had one connective thread that he discovered throughout the years, every successful business he's ever had a hand on was all due to the person behind the brand. John understand that people buy from people. John's late Father-in-law Brad Sousa was teh CTO of a global AV company and Brad had mentored John throughout his business career. John had a small part inhelping Brad build his personal brand and ideating what his impact could look like. After many conversations with Brad about John's new venture, John took a leap of faith and that is how Executive Brand Growth was born.

Today

Brad passed away on November 8th, 2023 and his legacy continues through the work John and his family is involved in. John is committed to the legacy and impact Brad has made on his life by helping people tell their story through visual communication to create impact on the highest level. John's mission is to help corporations, B2B companies, entrepreneurs humanize their message and show the world that beyond the transaction there is a rich story to be told that makes them unique and different from anyone else in the market.
